The water crisis: no more NDAs
We're in a water-supply crisis serious enough to stop new construction across much of the region. Instead of telling residents what's going on, the Region asked developers to sign non-disclosure agreements before they could even join the conversation. That isn't transparency and it isn't accountability. People pay for this at their tap and on their tax bill, and they've earned a straight answer about how we got here and what it's going to cost. My position is simple: cancel the NDAs, put the working-group notes and the decision trail online in plain English, and support an independent review that says clearly what went wrong and who is responsible.
